My "Dash!"
My "dash," has changed as time and people have changed. When I was younger I always thought my parents would be the ones who never left my side, and never let a frown appear on my face. As I grew older, sadly, I grew apart from my parents. My strongest relationship leaped to my grandmother, Marie and my younger sister Crystal. I grew up with both and they each taught me so much about life and about myself. My grandma passed away a few years ago, and though my memories stay strong it feels like I've lost a lot. Now in college I've become closer with my Aunt, and even closer with my sister Crystal. I've made tons of friends, and I've kept the old from high school. My family and friends truly have shaped what I have become, and made many experiences unforgettable.

A Gracious Plenty
I believe that Finch (the main character) shows an abnormal side that you don't see in most people, she talks with the dead as if they were alive. In ways I find it weird but on another sence I find it uplifting to know that she can still hold a close relationship with her parents this way. I also believe that Finch finds better friends such as Lucy than she would out in the real world, where most are frightened by her apperance. A connection can be good no matter where you have it.
